I know I didn't start this thread but I sure apperciate the info. When I get back on my truck I think I will go with the H configuration. Sure couldn't hurt.
One more thing though, which is better, glass packs or mufflers(ex.Flowmasters)?
I have 18" glass packs on 2 1/2 pipes, with small tube headers. I was thinking of going with a larger diameter header though.

do the H wont hurt. i dont know i used to change exhaust like most people eat, and the older i got the less noise i wonted. for the st. small headers and pipes. no bigger than 21/2, i like 21/4. with a good turbo muf. flowmaster cost to much. walker muf. makes some good turbos. dynomax ant bad. you need to get the sound you like .

What is on there now is much quieter than the 2" straights, no mufflers, no glass packs.Just headers and pipes, man that sucker was too loud. Kept getting pulled over for it. I can say that there is a noticeable difference between 2" and 2 1/2". It doesn't pop when I let off the throttle anymore. The glasspacks have that old school sound I like better. Like Mike says Flowmasters too expensive.
