It's a 70, and they only made 2500 of them. It is a customers who decided to do a total resto. He started grinding the paint off with a mud hog- ground all the body lines off- took the glass out, got drunk and decided to drive it to the store. Ran it off the road & broad sided a wooden fence. He brought it to me after it sat in the rain for 3 weeks after that, rusted & busted.
I had to clip the front right fender, re-skin the drivers door, move the top back over 3 1/4 inches, rebuild the drivers post, re-make the body lines, fix all but 2 flairs, and put it all back togather from scratch. Frames powder coated, and I'm getting ready to shoot the jambs blue. as well as the backsides of it all, and the flairs. Then I can get it painted in and start on the interior- and put the 400 that I just re-built back in. It's a factory 4 speed car. I can't wait to get to the decals......lolJim

Can do.........Jim
On my 76 Corvette I placed them on the left inner fenderwell, made for a short access to the alternator.
