and the belts go round and round

Well its startin to get warm again, so now the work begins. I would like to run sepentine belts on my sbc, I spent the morning at the wreckers looking for gold but all I found was pulley systems off of 4.3l v6's. Some of the old rodderes around here are tellin me that the brackets off the 4.3 won't bolt up to my 350, Is that true? I really like the MARCH pulleys, but way too much $$$$ for me. If any of you guys could give me any help it would be appreciated. Thanks

by the way, my engine is out of a '73 Le Mans and the heads do have accesory holes.
I've got the itch to lay some rubber down!!! ~Thanks grampa! its been 10 years worth of work, I just wish you could see it~

4.3 is a 350 minus 2 cylinders. Everything else about the motor is the same as a 350, especially the older ones. So, all of the accessories should transfer. Just watch out, most serpentine systems spin the water pump backwards and you may need to get a reverse flow water pump. GM sells a kit for $500 that has all of the pullies, the belt, and the reverse flow water pump.
