Does anyone know a secret on how to get the bolt that holds the cross pin in ....out after half of it is still in there?

I use a 12" long 1/8" LH thread drill bit to drill it with. 9 outta 10 times the bit catches and backs the screw out. When it doesn't I have my hole for the easy out.

Agreed, 'cept there's usually enough burr there to thread it's way right out.

At least the 15-20 times I've done it over the past 20 years.

    Agreed again.

You appeared to be dismissing my point.

Tell me, with all that experience, you still don't have a long LH drill bit in your tool box to accomplish what I'm saying?

BTW, my 20 years is actual work experience, not fixing grandma's AMC or counting when I was a teen/pre-teen cutting my teeth.

So now that you've been here a while you just aimlessly run your mouth?

Is that what you're trying to say?

I figured some things were better handled privately. I see you don't share that thought.

BTW, 98 Ford's didn't come with 4.9's. But you knew that, right?

I hear ya'. I still have fond memories of my 401 Javelin. On a quiet moonlit night I could almost hear it rusting around me.
