Quiet Doors
Here is something I found on Chevy Talk that I thought I would throw up on here.

It is good for quieting your doors from slamming, putting on your fire wall and floors, etc. They have this stuff at Lowes and Home Depot and are in the roofing seciton most likely. There are all different name brands for it and all do the same job and is around 12-15 bucks depending on where you go and live and the brand.
I thought I would share this with you guy's for a tip on making your hot rod more quiet without having to spend a lot of money on all those pads, etc.
Sorry if I didn't spell quiet right either, I am having one of those days where I can barely even spell my name.

I'm having problems with people slamming my doors. They used to need to be slammed but I bought new pins, bushings, and strikers and got it all adjusted so the door could pretty much close under its own weight. But I had everybody trained and they just kept slamming. Now, the plastic bushings on my few month old strikers are about ready to fall off because they can't take the abuse. I'm going to have to machine new bushings out of bronze or soft aluminum and set the striker bolts a little further back so the weather strip takes most of the hit.

Oh when you lay it out do it upright, like long ways front top to bottom all parallel so not as much moisture gets in there. Also use some duct tape or I think even better, the aluminum tape you can get from home depot and do all the seams around the stuff so moisture doesn't get in there. Wear rubber gloves if you can because that tar stuff underneath can get pretty messy and hard to get off your hands and clothes.www.streamlineautocare.com

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
