    Question gas tank relocation

     



    i have a 71 custom 10 and it still has the stock gas tank behind the seats in the cab and i want to relocate it and i was wondering if i could take the gas tank out of another vehicle and if so what vehicle.

    An eighties Chevy Caprice tank will fit between the rear rails. The filler will be at the back of the bed and you can fab a nice door to cover and protect it.

    I'm pretty sure it uses a 0 - 90 ohm fuel gauge, so most aftermarket gauge manufacturers' stuff will work.
    Ensure that the path of least resistance is not you...
