    need help on wireing

     



    ya it was running and now it wont start because i tryed to put new wires and i think i might of put a wire wrong but i know i did not from th points the negitive goes to the - of the coil and the postive goes to the ????starter where it say (R) right. and the (S) goes to the ingnition correct but iam trying to start it with out the ingnation just starting it direct to the batt

    hey, i ran into the same problem with my 64 chevelle. the best thing to do that i found was head to your local parts store and pick up a chilton manual for your car. in the back are wiring diagrams and you can trace each wire from start to finish...it worked for me, also check online on some electrical websites to figure out what symbols mean what.

    let me know if this helps. most GM has a resistor wire instead of the block.
