does anyone have any experience taking apart th350? I'm going to try to swap from cracked case to donor clean case???? comments app.

You had better get the correct, compatible cases. There were many small changes made in the internals over the years. Plus the differences between 6 and 8 cylinder internals, and you can end up with way wrong clearances and parts that won't swap.

How bad is your case? can it be welded?

the case isn't bad but im lookin to run 11.50s with the car so i need sturdy if you know what i mean , i was under the impression the actual cases where all the same ?? i thought about a ultra bell but very expensive and not sure if it will clear fire wall

id weld the crack if its not to bad. the stock th350 will handle the 11.5 ok, might need to install a shift kit though.

If yu dont know what your doing take it to a shop. Lots of little parts. if not placed back properly then a lot of wasted time and effort.
