Not enough info. Shaving door handles on what car? Do you want info on filling the holes, or on the mechanism inside? Is your car glass or steel?Jack

Remove the handles, fill the holes, add solenoids and poppers. Like Henry said, a more specific question would lead to some more detailed answers.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Excuse me for assuming but usually when thinking of a 73 Nova build, I'm wondering your gonna' wanna' race it at some point in time. I could be wrong ........... it's been known to happen. If you do want to race it (I'm just sayin') no handles won't pass tech. Track officials want to be able to get you out in the event of an accident. Just thought I would offer the tid-bit of information, even if it's not applicable."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.

I shaved the handles on my 55. I like the look, but it can be a pain in the butt. I don't think I would do it again. however if you still want to do it. Watsons hotrod parts is a good source of Information....Carlg

Might be able to find out here @ the Illinois DMV . Or you might have to email them with your specific question. Hope this points you in the right direction."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.

You can still shave the handle even if your gonna do a strip car but you will have to conform to rules. What I mean by that is the track officals have to have a way to get the door open as proZ said but if you are building a drag car and using lexan windows then you can put an inner handle that is accesable through a hole in the lexan window, it HAS to be visable to the track officals though so it will have to be mounted upward in the center of the door....if that makes any sence to ya I know I have a pic of one around here somewhere because thats what I'm doin to my car so I'll see if can dig it up and post a pic.
