    alittle info

1969 chevy nova 350 cid ( 1974 lm-1 ) ok i found a little info it looks like the external voltage regulator isnt hooked up..with the alternator not being wired at all and the voltage regulator not being hooked up would that cause poor voltage threw out the car because dash componets work ( head lights, wipers dash lights, no gauges hooked up yet ) but rear lights dont work. front parking/turn signals dont work..the alternator is a three wire acdelco which i would assume already has a voltage regulator?? anyways i hope this helps pictures are kinda of out of the question digital camara had a run in with a 3yr old sorry but please any info would certainly help!!!

Im gonna guess u need a external reg. which should wire up I from ignition with 6or 8 volt resistor so it wont burn up the coil and it will shut off with the key. A from batt. pos. S from stator F from field. alt. has A S F on back reg. has I A S F. Hope this makes some sense its as simple as I can make it.
