    what are you running chevy,ford or dodge ? usually the shape will tell you or the bolt pattern. as for ratio a sure way is to pull the cover off and it will be stamped on the ring gear divide the larger no by the smaller. hope that helps

    Do you mean what manfuacturer (Ford, Chevy, Chrysler, etc.), or what ratio, or whether or not it's limited slip. It would be easier to answer if you would provide a little more info.
