In addition to the chrome plating kit, you need a good motor to mount buffing wheels, about 3 grades of buffs, three or four types of compound, breathing apparatus and a lot of patience.
Like painting, good chrome plating is all in the preparation, and that takes a LOT of grinding, polishing and buffing before the parts even see the tank. You can get a lot of plating done for the $600 - $1000 you need to spend to get started.Jack
