    Recommended aluminium radiator?

Which aluminium radiator do you recommend?
Are all the well known ones of god quality?

It's for a Chevy smallblock equipped Ford 34.
Later plans are a 383 stroker.

    Griffin makes a nice Radiator the 2 row 1.25 tubes will cool a 383 that's what I have in my 46 with a .060 over 455 . and it runs around 185 to 190 in 90 degree heat .

Yeah, Griffin makes a good radiator. Kinda pricey though. Check Jegs or Summit for prices or alternatives.

you can get a griffin for 180 bucks outta jegs just order the universal mount one and make your own radiator mounts you'll save yourself upwards or 250-300 dollars!

I agree the Griffin is a pretty good radiator. I have one in my car. I measured about what I could fit and bought it. The only problem is making the mounts. I had to cut the whole bottom off of my radiator support and make lower mounts. Most of my friends bought a radiator that you could weld on and just welded brackets on the radiator itself, much easier. The Griffen uses epoxy where the tank and core meet so you can't weld on it without trashing the epoxy. If you plan on welding on it get one from a company that doesn't use epoxy. Sorry I can't remember the brand my friends have.
