    Unhappy Adjusting drum brakes

Hey guys i've been working on ym 72 chevelle and i'm replacing my whole brake system, but now i'm to the point where i have to bleed the system and adjust the brakes. Does anyone know how to adjust the brakes properly and correctly, and the bad thing for em is that there drum brakes all around. Thanks for any suggestions and hope to get some good advice.

I have drum brakes all around on my 1/2 ton 4x4 ford truck. What I do is have that wheel off the ground and turn the wheel while I adjust it and after I can hear it rub some then I press the brake peddle a few times and check it again. You want it to rub a little on the drums. The back brakes will give you peddle hieght. Denny was correct on the bleeding and I don't know on the clicks. I just use the till it rubs trick. Good luck, Rick
