disk brake hubs for 48 Ford spindles
I want to put disk brakes on the front of my t-bucket (has '48 ford axle) the spindles are (outer bearing) .750 inch diameter and (inner) 1.188 inch diameter. Is there a site where I can find bearing sizing with these inside diameters that will fit something like Mustang II hubs? Or should I try to find hubs from some other car that have those size bearings? Any suggestions?

Hey Harley,
www.classicperform.com
Classic Performance Products, or CPP as we call it.
You can go one of three ways:
1) Complete kit for the 48-52 Ford. It includes everything you'll need. $799.00
2) Disc Brake wheel kit. Rotors, calipers, brackets, bearings, seals, hoses, and hardware. $399.00
3) Bracket kit. Brackets, spacers, and hardware. $149.00. Then go to the junk yard and get hubs and rotors from a mid 70s Ford F100, and calipers from a late 70s-mid 80s Chevy/GMC pick up.
Remember...before you order, call them and discuss your ideas and plans. They will advise you on the correct products to order. That way there are no surprises in the end.
