manual linelock
i am looking around for a manual alternative to a line lock
i have heard people that have had trouble with the park lock brake lock.
i thought maybe a small hyd ball valve would do the job set into the front brake line.
any suggestions or experience with something like this.

We used a ball valve on my son's Luv drag truck. Mounted it on the floor beside the driver's seat. For burnouts, he closed the valve which was in the line to the rear brakes, so that no pressure was issued from the master cylinder to the rear brakes, but the fronts got pressure. After the burnout, he switched off the valve and had full pressure to all wheels.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.

Works great like Tech said. Also makes a great parking brake and a poor man's anti-theft device.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

yea i could mount it either way either to shut off or keep pressure in a line, i would be afraid of just using a plain ball valve as a brake syst has high pressures .
i am going to call the local hyd shop tomorrow as see what they have

I think we paid $15 for a new hydraulic ball valve, but of course that was several years ago.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.
