IMHO Short A-arms creat other problems . They are not a good solution to a front suspension that is too wide. It is better to install a front suspension that will fit under your project.
The S-10 rear is weak & it is always better to use your original frame & change the suspension. You reduce the value of the vehicle by using another frame.....at least the 2 I did by changing the frame made it harder to sell. I put a 41 Ford conv't on a 72 Chevelle frame & had to practically give it away. You save no money by doing a frame swap
