    Question for Techinspector1

    Hey Tech,

Why dont you start a new service called "verbal dyno"? A person could write and ask "how much horsepower does my 327 with 305 heads have?" You could ask "how much do you want it to have?" They would send you $9.95 and you would issue a "VERBAL DYNO" sheet with their horsepower numbers. Then, they would have written proof.

Also, for the 5000 lb car running in the 7.xx range, you could issue a "VERBAL TIMESLIP" for a similar price.......

    Whatcha think?

Mike, that's the funniest thing I've read in a long time and a damned good idea. My sides are aching from laughing. Thanks, buddy.

The irony of it is, it would probably work!!!!!

and......it would sure be easier to build a 500 horsepower
    283. Instead of buying several cams, a couple of sets of heads, multiple pistons, and a LOT of dyno time, I coulld have 500 (or more) horsepower for only $9.95!!!! (slightly higher in Canada).

WOW, this would shut up those naysayers.

Hey Tech, you take Pay Pal???? I could sure handle having a couple of my old cars go faster then they ever did!!! First task would be to make the old Mighty Mav Four a 7.90 Surper Comp instead of a 9.90 Super Gas car. Thought I would start you with something easy. I bracket raced my 90 T-Bird one night on the 1/8 mile in Sioux Falls, it had a 302 in it, (if I was really out on the other guy, I would flip on the A/C to keep from breaking out) could you make it a 4.90 car???? Also when you get into the advanced stuff, could you make it so I never lost an A Main in my circle burners??????

If this is where we put in orderz',

I'd like the "Z" to go deep into the 6's. I realize (But am not totally sure) I'd have to resort to either LOX or a JATO. (and I'm like totally O.K with that man).

BTW: would I need (2) two JATO's to go straight or could I put enough pre-load in the chassis to get by with (1) one?

    Thanx' in advance.

When I used to take my 27 roadster to carshows, the civilians would take a look at my relatively mild 350, with big zoomie headers and gobs of chrome and they always asked "how many horsepower is that thing?" I would look them right in the eye and say "500 Horsepower" and they would go away impressed as all Bejesus. Occasionally a real hotrodder would ask me the same question, and when I gave my "500 Horsepower" answer they would start to ask me "how can that be possible with a streetable small block Chev motor?"---Then I would look them right in the eye and give my other answer---"I lie a lot"----I got many mixed responses to that answer.

Might be safer with one in the middle. would sure be a wild ride if the right one fired and the left one didn't!!!!! Hate it when my JATO does that.......
