    Automatic Adjusters on Rear Brakes

I have Granad Rear brakes. I had them exposed putting on Emerg. cable clips, and noticed that I had the auto adjusters mounted differently from side to side. One side has them on the front shoe, and one side on the back shoe. What is the correct position?

That should be correct, because the adjuster can be used on either side, and must rotate in the correct dirrection to hold tension and release as needed. if you have it backwards, it will not work correctly.

Thanks for the replies. Denny, your clear description means there is something wrong back there. I will take them down and get it right.
