i just got a MIG/Flux its 90 amps max not a real big one but i dont feel like hooking up gas to it so im rolly just gonna use the flux wire.
ill be welding roll cage tubes(not the outer shell just cross bars)and frame components would that be sufficent enough to do that stuff

Assuming the same wire type, ie mild steel, I don't believe either is stronger. But either has specific usages and limitations.
It really depends on the material being welded and conditions.
Here's a decent overview -

I believe for roll cage frames flux-core is better.
What pipe material are you using?
I would try a 90 degree butt weld and check for penetration.
You don't want all the metal on the outside. Some should penetrate to the inside of the fitting.
Be sure to observe the duty cycle for your welding machine.
They are easy to burn up.

Mig welding looks nicer when you have a rust free piece of metal, flux welding will work better if the metal is rusted. Carlg

tig tig i have a new 250 miller i have not use no more that five times in three years it is a great welder but my 275 lincoln tig .thin or thick it dose not matter steel or alumium. a tig is a wise investment no sparks fly on stuff no big holes burned in you no hot sparks burning the ear wax out prep work is the start of a good weld buy cup wheel for a angle grinder the nice thing about a tig is you add the rod as needed and i have a thum wheel on the torch you can turn heat up or down when welding i use my tig all the time i would think about a tig
