Trunk leak
I have a 1967 Camaro that has a pretty severe leak in the trunk. After washing the car there is quite a lot of water in the front of the trunk ( towards the engine) in the bottom of the trunk as well as a little on the top of the back seat. I have replaced the trunk weather-stripping and taken the chrome off the back window and used some sealant around the edges thinking that it was getting in there, but none of these attempts solved the problem. I was wondering if anyone had another idea to help stop this leak. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.

could be comming from the seams from the trunk panel between the 1/4's .
Another bad area is the back glass channel is rusted away , and runs into the trunk .
rotten and dry trunk weather strip, the trunk weather strip rail is bent down and not sealing against trunk .
Also have a buddy get in the trunk with a flash light and yu run water on the out side and see where the water is running in .
I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
