    Ratz!

Check out the bearing retainer on the passenger side of the axle I got with my Gibbon roller. Of course, it's already painted and mounted. Bearings seat fine. Oil seals will not install.

My solution: serious coating of high-temp, oil-compatible silicone around the bearing race. The bearing is pressed on, and is sealed, so I'm betting on fixing it that way.

We'll see what Gibbon's answer is when (if) my week-old email gets answered.

    Henry,
You have just not had good luck with Gibbons.
With all your experience I'm sure you will have this bad boy
up and running. But I think when you buy a setup the way you
did, you shouldnt have to use so much experience just to get it going. Know what I'm trying to say???????
