t bucket body mounts
to the t bucket and old rod owners out there what do you use for any kind of insulator between frame and body. i am shure the original t was either metal on metal of had a beltlike fabic between the frame and body.
i am going to use what is called a foam rubber hockey puck in the back as i want a little space between the frame approx 1 inch and it seems to compress just nicely and in the front i want the body just off the frame so i was going to use a heavy 1/4 inch belting for spacing.. my body is not sectioned and sits and mounts right on top of the frame .
any suggestions, opinions ideas???
