    air conditioning poblems

     



    My 77 corvette the a c does not work at all. ? would it be the compressor? The blower motor does not work at all either when you turn the swith on. I think I need to change the blower motor. Has anybody ran into this problem? Please help?

    blower switch or not getting power to the switch would be my guess.

    Justus....
    Do you have gauges and access to "Freon"? If not, take the thing to a shop....you can't get an A/C to work without the proper tools. If the A/C has been dead for a while, it is probably low on Freon......and your car probably is still an R-12 car unless you see a tag that says that it has been converted to R-134.

    You'll be money ahead to pay someone to check it out.

    That doesnt mean that you have to pay to have some of the parts changed (after those parts are identified bad).

    if youer low in freon the comp. want kick in. fan should work though. robot has a good idea.
