    Price of conversion

I am looking around to find some info on prices some have paid for there V8 conversion. I have an LT1 out of a camero that I can get for $300 and a 5 speed out of a camero for the same price.

What are some opinions on what it would take to put that in the place of a 2.2 I want to do this write because it would be a daily driver. I want to do everything from upgrading brakes, rear end, tires wheels, I can' think of anything else now. So let me here some of your opinions.

    Thanks
    Ryan

you can spend as much as you want, dime man ryan. what you need more than anything else is to have everything you need to start with. what do you have to go with the motor?you want be able to use much of anything that you have now, you need to get a book and read up on it . the v8 part ant so bad, but the LT1 makes it harder. im assuming you are talking about useing the EFI, but if you are talking carb, and dist. its a lot easier. give me some more details about what you have to start with. check this out...

Done a few S10-350 swaps, it isn't all that big a job. Use the "soup can" starter, dimple the heater. fold the seam in the firewall, and notch the frame for the fuel pump. Oh, yeah, notch the X-member for starter clearance, too. The rear end and brakes are the same as Malibu's, so they work fine.
