Question Model A fender brace with IFS

I have a problem with the front fender brace clearing the upper A-arm mount on a TCI IFS. I notched the brace to clear the IFS but it extremely reduced the strength of the brace. Anyone know if they make a brace for this application, or anyone have any helpful hints on how to do this without distroying the braces integrity. Thanks!

    Fender brace

Had the same problem with a Heights front end. I don't have the car anymore, but if I remember correctly, all I did was weld some extra metal to the modified brace. Held up real well. I assume your are running a light bar. That will add to the rigidity of the modified braces.
