In need of IFS install for 1956 GMC Pickup (southern California)
Hi Everyone,
Im new to the forum, this is my first post. Anyways, I own a 1956 GMC 100 series pickup. The truck is mostly original, except for the engine/trans. What I want to do is have an Independent Front suspension installed on it for a smoother ride. I live in San Diego California, and was wondering if anyone could recommend any good shops that could do this for me. I wish I could do it myself, but lack of experience and work space prevent it. I have found quite a few setups that look good: "Total cost involved", "No Limit Engineering", "Scotts IFS", and "Kugel Komponents". Can anyone recommend one that has worked well for them? I was also wondering if anyone had any idea of what this might cost to have done. If anyone has had any experiences with this, your opinions/advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
