How to make fiberglass bubbles in glass hood sides for a wide engine
If you need to bubble the hood for a fit on a wide engine, here is a neat tip for bubbles in fiberglass hood sides.----Go down to the local discount cooking pots and pans store, and check around. They have all kinds of "woks" and plastic containers (like Tupperware). Find one of the shape you require, wax the inside of it with 2 or 3 coats of paste-wax, and lay up some fiberglass and resin into the "mold". Leave it for 2 or 3 hours to "set-up", then pop the glass out with a compressed air gun, or an old screwdriver. Voila!!!! ready made bubbles to be glassed into the hood sides.Old guy hot rodder
