Camshaft Gear
Hi
I was wondering if I changed the distributer i should change the gear on the end of the cam. the engine is a stock 283. If i should does any body know where i can find it?

I asked my dad about it and he said that the newer gear (distributer) will be worn into the shapes of the older gear(Cam).
But if i can get away with that, thats even better thanks!

The only way to change the gear on the cam is to replace the camshaft.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
