    Radiator Help!

Ok today I went to buy my new wheels and tires (that didn't turn out so well which is going to be on another thread and it's another story tonight which I'll post) and on the way there my gauge showed the needle all the way to the hottest mark. My radiator is much too small and is a two core radiator that was for the plain inline 6 motor that came with my 66 F100 truck. Now I have a 77 LTD 302 in it with a few mods here and there like a big cam, different pistons, etc and I plan to build it even more for more HP. Well I need a biggere radiator basically. I called www.radiators.com and they said I need AT LEAST a 3 row radiator and they can have one shipped to my door with tax and all for $298.90. Does this sound like a good price to you guys? I have no clue on the size they are giving me or nothing, but I talked to a Ford tech and told him everything I have and that is what he said. He gave me a reference number and said if I want it then call him tomarrow and he will send it right out.

If anyone knows of a better solution and a better price then please let me know. I kind of need this thing by next Monday the LATEST and need to know what I am getting by tomarrow.
Thanks a ton for any help!

    radiators

I have taken a tape measure to the bone yard and found them with fresh paint and a rebuild sticker for $40 to 50 had them pressure tested for $15 My 85 one ton 460 has a mercury station wagon Rad, never had any more cooling problems Trucks usually have so much room any big radiator from later years might fit The only problem was on my 78 4X4 i put in a 460 and the radiator was so big i had to take out the Hickey side winder winch, not enough room so the winch is now on a trailer.

    A rad for a '66 with a 352 will cool your 302, if you're into boneyard scavenging.

Thanks for the help! I got answers from slick60s.org too (they deal with my year Ford truck, etc) and they said that price I got is much too high for what I need. One of my problems may be that I need a shroud and then an electric cooling fan but I mean it gets way too hot and I dont even think that will solve my problems. I may go to a junk yard and look around some.
Thanks and more info is still welcome!
