1950 Ford Brake Update
Hey everyone .I'm building a 50 ford Club Coupe and I want to upgrade the front brake system.I was wondering if there is any compatible stock parts that will fit, spindles ,rotors calipers, ect.I'd rather not put a front subframe if possible. Thanks for the infoGYABUSA

Thanks for the info. I was planning on using new parts .What I noticed was that on the brake kit the rotors were 5-4 3/4 bolt circle (GM) Possiblely GM calipers also.I was looking to find out what application the parts came from so I could go to the local auto parts store and buy them new.I'll keep watching the boards and searching .might just buy the kit for ease.ThanksGYABUSA

I checked out ECI 's web site and they had some good info there. They also had better prices on their kits.I'm going to give them a call tomorrow.GYABUSA

hey streets, what two bosses are you talking about anyway, just so I know for the future..thanks, joeDonate Blood,Plasma,Platelets & sign your DONORS CARD & SAVE a LIFE

Hey streets could you explain that better for those of us who are young and dumb , If I can do front disks using camEro drums that would save me a lot of $$, Is it only the 67-69? or are there any 70's models that can be used? I know there are plenty of 70 era camaros around me, found them when I did my 74. but I have only come across maybe 2 67-69's and they weren't parting them out.
Are there any other drums that can be easily converted into disks?1949 Plymouth Club Coupe Still in pieces.

I just put a MII front end in my 49 Shoebox with a power rack. It also uses 11" Granada rotors with Camarro calipers. Should stop real well when it finally gets on the road.
