    master brake cillinder

I have two questions about this picture.

First, is it normal to have the master brake cylinder(or how you cal it) in horizontal position. Now my reservoir can not be filled completely because the top lies at an angle.

Second, al the holes in the frame where the engine mount used to be. That doesn't look neat, is it wise to weld them shut and grind them nice flat(the new engine mount place is right in front of the rear lower arm mount)

What is the source of your donor parts? Take a look at the original setup, I believe the booster and cylinder assembly were tilted on the original so that the reservoir fill lid was level.

Looks like you need a different master cylinder that the reservoir will set level on. Any good parts store should be able to help you out.

Weld all the extra holes shut and grind it smooth.

Maybe only an new reservoir would be a solution then.

I also thought it would be nice to make it one hole flat section.

If you can find a reservoir for that cylinder that will mount level, would work.

To tell ya the truth, by the looks of that booster/master cylinder, I wouldn't bet my life on either one. I would replace the complete setup.

When you purchase the new setup, make sure you buy the master/booster combo. Mixing and matching can cause problems.
