    Compressor question

I'm building a 32 roadster and have the chassis done except a few things on the 350 engine, I'm installing a chrome air conditioning compressor and with the oil plug up one of the line fittings will hit my air cleaner. on the back side I noticed 5 bolts holding the plate where these fittings are. can this back plate be turned so the fitting will be on the side and not the top of the compressor---I know nothing about compressors, its a Sanden 508---------------Richie

If hood clearence is not an issue, get an air cleaner riser, should fix your problem for a few dollars.
