    ford engine in 32 highboy

I am considering building a 32 ford high boy. I would like to buy a full bracketed frame. Who is reasonably priced? I would also like to know if a 302 or 351 Ford engine will fit in a 32 coupe highboy as easily as 350 chevy will. If I use a ford engine will there be any modifications needed?

Think about it. A 4.6 Ford with a old (eight - one's) style FI system. Only electronic FI.

    Put a CHEV in it!
    paint it Matte,
    Call it a RATROD.

    just kiddin.

Most anything "can" fit. But of course some "fit" easier than others. I had a 351W in a 34 ford and could still close the bonnets. took some considerable cutting of the firewall. I now have a small block chev in a 30 ford, this was considerably easier. It almost seemed like the block was more "rounded" It seemed to clear things really well and make for a more enjoyable struggle. It could have just been that I planned alot better and made a whole lot more measurements with the chev.
I prefer the chev. That being said....A whole lot of people took notice of the little '351 whinger' under the bonnet, its almost like they had never seen one before....go figure.
