    first chop

Well after 61 years, I decided it was about time to do my first (gasp) chop of a car. A good feind of mine who restores cars for a living talked me through the process and even then I made a mistake but it can be corrected. I wanted(wasn't my car) actually a piece of junk, but thats what you need on your first job; I wanted the windshield to lay back on the 50 chevy and it came out right but I didn't measure right and came up with a 1/4 inch difference on one side. Thats why I used a piece of crap. Billy let me do my own cutting and he saw what I was doing wrong, but didn't say anything because I was sure I had measured right. Right?, wrong. Will have to add to one side or take the other down without compromising the back cuts. Alot of fun and I can say I finally did it. Now gotta figure how to cut the glass
Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.

    Hey, sounds like fun but...

This thread is worthless without pictures!

    Congrats on the first cut!

Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!
