    1968 Montego

I damaged a 1968 Mercury Montego convertible. The driver's side front end ran into a light pole going about 5-8 MPH. Would it be an easy fix to replace or fix the engine compartment? The frame around the engine compartment is bent. Any help would be great!

must have been some light pole to bend a frame at 8 MPH! A good body shop can certainly fix it, but as Streets said, it may cost a bit. Check around, avoid a dealer body shop as they prefer newer cars. you should look for an old timer, and now might be their slow season (winter is busier around here, snow and ice make many drivers act like those at the bumper car ride)
