    53 chevy, what pedal assembly?

i have a 1953 chevrolet 2dr belair. i just swapped in a 307/PG and to make things easier i was thinking of swapping in a 70's nova or camaro pedal assembly. this would give me a throttle cable instead of linkage and also set me up for a firewall mounted master cylinder with a power booster. any ideas or suggestions on this?

anybody else mes with putting a smaal block in one of these cars? any pics? i think i may have the motor set allitle low in the car so i'm try to find some pics to see what mine looks like in relation.

any help would be appreciated!!!! thanks!

i have a 50 chevy and a 548 big block blown in it and can shut the hood on it so it site in low with the camaro front end on it. if you mount a swing pedal you may have to work on the fire wall it use not made to work with a fire wall mount and will move when you push on the pedal there is to braces on the fire wall that help this but you have to cut in them for the V8 i will send you pics of mine if you want to look at it.if you give me your email .i try to put them on here but the pics are to big and i can not get them small?

thanks man! my email is myk_willis@hotmail.com

i figured the firewall would flex so i was expecting to have to reinforce it. pics tell a thousand words so send em my way.

what pedal assembly did you use?

got any progress pics from when you clipped it? i was thinking of clipping mine with an early to mid 70's nova clip. also, what leaf springs did you use in the rear? or is it backhalved?

    thanks again!
