Thread: 55 chevy side window install diagram

Hello everyone, I am new to this site. I just bought a 55 bel air with the side windows and all parts removed. I am looking for a diagram or someone to talk with that has installed all componets needed to operate my windows. I have searched the web and can not find any info on this topic. Thank you in advance for any help...

Best bet would be to get a shop manual, which should pretty much give you all the infor you need to install the glass (what needs to be loosened, twisted etc).

The assembly manual is also a good book as it should give you a complete breakdown of the parts needed to do the job.

They shopuld be available on E Bay or people who deal in tri 5 parts.

Thanks, although I have bought both the assembly manual and the suplement manual. Neither of which show any of the window component assemblies (exept the regulator), only the adjustments with arrows pointing to specific locations on the door!!!
