Hi / engine swap ?'s chev to pon.
I'm new here, but I've spent the last 20 years putting things where they were not ment to be, mostly engine swaps and mostly out of necessity. this time I am putting a 1976 pontiac 400 in my 67 chevy 1/2 ton, I have a bellhousing and am pretty sure I can work the engine mounts, however I have severely limited funds and am concerned about the flywheel starter matchup, when I get down to the dirt I will have only 48hrs to finish so I need to get everything set up ahead of time, do I need to buy a new flywheel or will the chevy starter bolt onto the pontiac block?Last edited by frankenstien; 09-23-2005 at 12:54 PM.
what's under the hood is far more important.

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
