Guys, I got a serious question. Now, my 48 has an 8.5 inch GM(chevy) rear end on it. Now, I know the 9 inch FORD rear end is "bulletproof", meaning dependable, like the GM 350 small block. However, with the motor setup I am considering, I was wondering if I should go with maybe the FORD 9 inch. I'm trying to use all GM parts as much as possible, keep it "loyal" to its brand. But the setup I was thinking about POSSIBLY using is a rebuilt 427(professionally rebuilt, not home job) with a turbo 350 GM Tranny. Does anybody have any opinions on this setup with either rear end........
