I used to have a 90 corvette. I sold the car before I had a chance to built it. Back then I was looking at some of this stuff... http://www.tpis.com . The stock parts will not support alot of horse power.78 malibu

For sure!! I recall Jim's torsion bar suspension on at least one of his builds, but I'm not sure which one! Maybe the Track T?? He's a talented builder.
