    V8 s10 question

i was looking at conversion kits that said its for 1982 and up S-10s. is it possible to put a V8 in a 1981 and earlier S-10?

1981 was the first S10, but for some reason, no-one wants to admit it. They're the same as the '82's.

Now I know, thanks for the gum ball. You can put anything in if you get a big enough hammer.

Everything you need to know about getting a V8 into a Chevy S-10 is on this site. It has all kinds of tips and tricks to make the job easier. You'll find info on different engine swaps, different transmissions swaps, rear end changes, what mounts to use.

This site will give you a list of needed parts with prices. It will also give you photos and background of S-10s, Jimmies, and Blazers with finished installations.
