55 Belair Hardtop Engine swap 6 to 8

I just bought my dream car a 1955 Belair Hardtop. It has all the original equipment. I am not sure about hotrodding it as I don't want it to lose its value. Any thoughts?

I was thinking of swaping the original 6 with an 8, but keeping the 6 for the numbers.

Does anyone know if or where I can get bolt on mounts for the 8 cyl engine?

I will be posting a web page soon of the restore.

In the past I have restored 8 Jeep CJ's and now as I get older want a classic car.
