There is a simple way to ensure that your lug nuts will come off your vehicle. Good old fashioned open lugs and a can of Liquid Wrench, PB blaster, Even WD40(as a last resort). Take your cross bar, hold one end in your hand and step on the other end. Havent had one stick on yet. But as said previously, Clean Everything before re-assembly.
