    POR-15 spray-on color film

Howdy again. Thanks for the reply Paul.

I was looking through a catalog and found this stuff that POR-15 is making, and it's supposed to be some kind of spray-on color film that lets you tint windows, bumpers and other trim with different colors, and supposedly doesn't chip at all...even under a hammer. Has anybody out there ever used it?

I don't think you want to put this on your window glass unless you want a blackout style of "tint"......yes, it's tough as nails but is mainly for encapsulating rust on metal. If they have a "window tint" paint out it's news to me BUT sometimes I don't read all the news.....

Yep.POR-15 makes a colorized transparent spray-on film you can reduce and spray on glass, chrome and stainless. They make lots of different stuff. The tint isn't solid..it's transparent. I don't see a whole lot of people using it..probably because they don'tknow it's out there. I don't think I'd be tinting my chrome with transparent red, but it would look pretty cool against super-clear coated black on a 54 ford.
