Cooling fan
I have been checking on the use of a cooling fan from a Lincoln MKVIII. I understand that they are two speed / three wire, and will put out around 4300 CFM.
I was going to use two cooling fans. My computer is set up to operate two fans, one controlled by engine temp and the other would kick on when the A/C is turned on or if the engine reaches extreme temps.
I am wondering if the computer would operate the single two speed in somewhat the same way, with the low speed working by engine temp and the second relay kicking in the high speed when the A/C is on or during higher operating temps. This is to be used with a tune port 383 Stroker and GM. computer. The computer and wiring harness have already been modified to use two fans with two relays. Anyone had any experiences with this set-up? I am wondering if when the second relay kicks in, what will happen if the first relay stays in also?
