Mopar starter question.
I have a question.Does anyone know if there is a company that makes a Chrysler mini starter that can be rotated like the SBC and Fords. As you can see in the pic I have a slight clearance issue with the steering box,and the motor cannot be lifted any higher or moved over.I currently have less than 1/4 inch of clearance and I would prefer a little more.

Have you tried looking at different year starters? A friend of mine got one for a 90 somethin model Dodge Dakota v-6 that was smaller than the original one on his 72 Charger 340. That looks like a small starter on the car now, so I don't know what else could be done. Where did you get the starter you have now?Topher

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
