Hey there, in response to your question......the reason I dont drive my car in the winter is I live in Indiana. Once we get that first dusting of snow the salt trucks come out in full force. And if you drive on the roads here in the winter and get those nasty little salt granules up into your fender wells or up into those little nooks and crannies under your car. Then add that with a little water and lookout.........oxidation and rust. To add injury to insult they mix that salt with sand, and to get that crap built up under your car is just bad. So normally I wait until we have at least 3 or 4 good heavy spring rains to wash the streets before my car comes out. So in as much as a few words.....if you love your car and live in snow country......put it away until spring. If you really have a jonsen to drive it, do like I do. Open the garage door, start it up (or not) and just pretend you are zooming down a warm summer hi-way on the way to a show. Regards, GaryLife is like a hotrod......it goes fast, so keep one foot close to the brake. a30coupe
Ditto on the model kits! My best were lost when the Hobby Shop burned under suspicious circumstances....
How did you get hooked on cars?
