window install
I`m ready to put the front &back glass in the merc,my question is do i need some kind of sealant along with the rubber, or do i just put it in by itself,no extra sealant? thanks

The original installation didn't have a sealant, and those held for quite a few years. With reproduction rubber however, it may or may not do as good a job. If it were me I'd put in a small amount of sealant. Big gobs of sealant would make for a sloppy (lumpy?) looking install.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Any kind you recomend,or can i use construction grade window sealant like vulcom ?

08509 is a good product, used it lots. Not impossible to clean off if the window ends up being a re do someday.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
