intake cleaner?
I'm sure this has come up before but I accuried a polished dual quad polished intake and it was kinda a dirty and I've cleaned about 80% of it, but was wondering what I could use to clean the really hard baked on grease and etc. left on it. I have used Mr. Buffer metal cleaner and Billet polish.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

Some MEK would probably do it..............just make sure you have lots of ventilation and avoid inhaling too much.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

When I was younger, I used MEK on a rag without gloves of any kind several days running to suck the grease and grunge out of a 30-40 Krag rifle stock. That's probably what's wrong with me today.Originally posted by NTFDAY
